Sam Brunner

I love game. I'll say it—I love Harolds. I've been at the Baltimore Improv Group since 2016 and have taken courses and workshops from UCB instructors/alumni, Magnet, Second City, and World's Greatest Improv School (Will Hines). I currently teach Level 501: The Harold at Baltimore Improv Group and intro to improv workshops for Highwire Improv as well as corporate applied improv workshops.

My work with teams focuses on getting stronger at game, raising the stakes of a scene, doing the fun/dumb thing, getting on the same page as your scene partner, and kicking up the energy.

As someone who is also involved in scripted theater, I can help with other performative aspects like stage picture and emotiveness. I believe in giving feedback that's actionable and specific, and have experience with a variety of formats such as Harolds (heh), spokane/pretty flower, montage, and monoscene.
